Accompanied by Wang Qi, President Assistant of BIFT and Chairman of BIFT Assets Management Co., Ltd., Yan Yan, General Manager of BIFT Innovation Park, and Zhang Xiaopeng, Principal of BIFT-Chenfeng Fashion Industrial Park, etc., the delegation visited the designers' service center, the central sample room, the leatherware sample room and partial enterprises located in the Park; afterwards, the seminar on the BIFT fashion industrial park was convened in the meeting room.

During the seminar, Chairman Wang Qi first gave a brief on the cooperation between Chenfeng Group and BIFT Innovation Park to the school. Deputy General Manager Zhang Xiaopeng introduced Chenfeng Park in detail, including the five main business sections of basic operations, internship practice, design and implementation, exhibition activities and policy reporting, the operation plan, the development status, and the existing problems and requirements. Afterwards, Liu Ting, Principal of Haining Park, introduced the resources, future plans and demands of Haining Park. Upon carefully listening to the speeches delivered by the relevant principals, Deputy Secretary Ai's delegation positively evaluated the work of the Innovation Park and conducted in-depth exchanges on the future development of the park and the intramural cooperation project.
In order to foster the development of higher education in the park, BIFT will further reinforce the reserve of cadres and young teachers, improve the training and selection of teachers and managers, and enhance the communication and connections with the fashion industry community. BIFT will produce outstanding cadres and young teachers well prepared to serve in temporary posts. During the meeting, Wang Yantong, a full-time organizer of the Organization Department and Vice Secretary of General Party Branch of the Institution, briefly introduced the implementation plan for the cadres to take temporary posts outside Beijing. All relevant departments indicated that they would actively respond to such a plan and implement this mobilisation, and propose specific constructive methods and approaches such as scientific research and surveys, integration with subject curriculum, integration with graduate programs, course completion and exhibitions, and student extracurricular practice and application, etc.. Principals also proposed the direction for project cooperation in the future and put forward constructive opinions on the advantages of their respective disciplines, achievements of their scientific researches and their juncture collaborating with sub-parks of the Innovation Park.

Finally, Deputy Secretary Ai, on behalf of the school's Party Committee, expressed her gratitude to colleagues working at Chenfeng and Haining. She pointed out that, considering the two sub-park's different locales having different industrial backgrounds and different local advantages, we had to think about what each can do for the company and what aims can be fulfilled. Meanwhile, the objectives of all Parks shall be the same, that is, to promote the BIFT brand, expand external resources, integrate production and research, cultivate talent and serve society. All departments concerned have to refine and implement their work, including curriculum setting, exhibition, training, consultation and achievement transformation, etc., and provide a specific time schedule for this. All Parks should develop themselves on the principle of mutual benefit, localizing their work as much as possible, assisting in promoting the development of local industries while serving the development of schools and local enterprises together. The sub-parks should function as the bridge to exploring highly efficient working mechanisms and management modalities. During the seminar, Deputy Secretary Ai announced the decision made by BIFT Party Committee to select outstanding young core teachers and cadres to serve in temporary positions outside Beijing, while continuing to carry out mobilization in the meantime. She said that BIFT Party Committee attached great importance to the training of cadres outside Beijing, which shall be a very important and valuable experience for their growth.
As unanimously agreed during the seminar, BIFT and the Innovation Park shall work together to break through professional barriers through practice by serving in temporary positions, teaching through practice and encouraging students to start businesses, and filling in gaps in scientific research, achieving a transformation in teaching and research achievements, giving back to society and forming a long-term strategy.
